Birmingham Hodge Hill Liberal Democrats say thank-you
Hodge Hill Liberal Democrats would like to say thank you to the people of Hodge Hill Constituency for voting on Thursday.
Across the Hodge Hill constituency the Liberal Democrats came second to Labour in the Local Elections and won four of the Council seats. It shows that it is the Liberal Democrats who are the challengers in Hodge Hill. The Conservatives are far behind in third, showing that they cannot win here
The result across the Constituency based on the Local Election results is as follows:
Labour 8,602 votes
Liberal Democrat 6,689 votes
Conservative 2,987 votes
UKIP 2,705 votes
BNP 2,599 votes
Green 1,484 votes
PJP 1,055 votes

Across Birmingham, Liberal Democrats again made strides gaining four additional seats, taking seats and votes from both the Labour and the tories. The Liberal Democrats again outpolled the Conservatives in the Local Elections.
In the West Midland Euro elections, Liz Lynne was re-elected as Liberal Democrat MEP with a higher share of the vote.
