Charles Kennedy and Nicola officially opened the new Liberal Democrat Office at 641 Washwood Heath Road. Charles and Nicola then visited a number of locations in the constituency.
Charles and Nicola visited the Fox and Goose Shopping Centre and met with some people out shopping and discussed a number of issues that are expected to dominate the campaign such as the closure of Post Offices and Police Stations, anti-social behaviour, vandalism and graffiti and the unfair Council Tax.
Charles and Nicola also visited the Ward End Post Office to highlight the closures being pushed through by Royal Mail and the Government. Nicola has also visited a number of school and local businesses over the last few days to talk about education and employment.
Whilst in Birmingham, Charles Kennedy met with journalists from local newspapers to discuss local and national issues.
It is expected Charles Kennedy and many other Liberal Democrat MPs will be coming to support Nicola over the next few weeks in her challenge to become the Liberal Democrat MP for Hodge Hill.
