Liberal Democrats tackle Labour's grot spots: Part 2

July 7, 2004 9:35 AM

Liberal Democrats in Hodge Hill have carried out their second session of tackling Labour's grot spots. Nicola Davies was joined by Liberal Democrat MPs Paul Marsden and Richard Younger-Ross clearing weeds from footpaths along the Washwood Heath Road near the Fox and Goose.

Liberal Democrat Local Government spokesman Richard Younger-Ross MP said "I was shocked by the state of the streets. There were more varieties of weed than you would find the average garden. It's clear that Labour have neglected this part of Birmingham. Nicola would be a hardworking local MP who would get to grips with the problems."
