Sarah Teather MP who beat Labour in last year's Brent East by-election
Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather who won Brent East from Labour last September today boosted Nicola Davies' campaign. Sarah Teather MP said "With just six days to go - this by-election in Hodge Hill has exactly the same feel about as my campaign in Brent East did. Labour were rattled by our campaign in Brent East and they are clearly rattled here.
Sarah Teather further said "Labour has lost the trust of local people - they want change and they know the Liberal Democrats can deliver it. The only difference is that Labour's campaigning techniques are getting even more negative. They aren't fighting on their record - they're throwing mud. In contrast Nicola Davies is fighting a positive campaign - standing up for local people and tackling Labour's neglect. It's clearly what people want and it's why they will vote for her."
