Birmingham buildings win restoration challenge.

The Old Grammar School and Saracen's Head in King's Norton Green, Birmingham has won the BBC's Restoration final. Nicola Davies welcomed the result saying "This result will help to restore both the Old Grammar School and the Saracen's Head, bring money and tourism to the area. it is a fantastic result for all of Birmingham."
The Old Grammar School has fallen into decay and was placed on English Heritage's "at risk" register. The Saracen's Head was quite possibly the largest house of the royal manor during the 15th century.
