Liberal Democrats adopt new health policy

The Liberal Democrats adopted a new health policy at their conference this morning. The new policy, entitled "Healthy Communities, Healthy People", the policy focuses on the main areas that affect health and people's freedom to have control overt their health.
The main thrust of the policy is to tackle the causes of ill health, enabling people to have a real control over their own health and freeing professional and the NHS to support healthy choices and deliver quality services. these plans contracts with the Labour policy of choice for the few and the Tory plans of choice for the wealthy.
