Liberal Democrats call for the abolition of Council Tax

Ed Davey MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Secretary of State for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister has used a speech at Liberal Democrat Conference to re-iterate calls for the abolition of Council Tax. Mr. Davey said "Council Tax is an unfair and unjust tax and should be abolished and replaces with Local Income Tax based on people's ability to pay."
