Crime and Policing

Liberal Democrat Conference this afternoon discussed Crime and Policing. There were two sessions the first of Policing and in particular equipping the police to fight 21st century crime which focused on the changing nature of crime and how our policing must reflect that. The second session focused on Crime with a question and answer session with Mark Oaten MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary. There will be a third session on Thursday morning which will look at the punishment and rehabilitation of offenders.
