Proposed Tesco to be discussed by City Cabinet

The proposed Tesco development on the Brockhurst Road playing fields will be discussed by Birmingham City Council's Cabinet on 18 October. If passed the plan will then be reviewed by the Regeneration Scrutiny Committee.

If the Tesco's is given the go-ahead they will pay for new sport facilities for the remaining playing field on Brockhurst Road and also for an overhaul of the Fox and Goose. The Improvements to the Fox and Goose could include new bins, benches, trees pedestrian crossings, car parking and traffic calming measures.
