Washwood Heath Road Post Office to close after all

The Post Office has announced that the Washwood Heath Road Post Office will close after all. This comes just two weeks after it was granted a stay of execution. Nicola Davies said "This is terrible news, just weeks after local resident's hopes were raised the Post Office has dashed them again. The Government is the main shareholder in the Post Office and it has the final say on what happens. It is incredible that Birmingham, with so many Labour MPs has had so many Post Offices close, one has to start asking what these Labour MPs are actually doing as they do not seem to be fighting for their constituents."
