Clare Short MP says Blair tragically and mistakenly led Britain in to war.

Clare Short, Labour MP for Birmingham Ladywood and former International Development Secretary has today attacked Tony Blair's handling of the war in Iraq. Ms. Short said "Tony Blair tragically and mistakenly led Britain to war in Iraq and could pay the price at the next General Election" She further said "The war had been a "very grave error" and Britain, if it had been a true friend of the US, would have used its influence to avoid conflict."
Ms. Short also said a Labour victory at the election was "not in the bag".
