Nicola Davies has today welcomed the launch of the LDV's new range of vans. The Washwood Heath based company LDV has today unveiled a new range of vans. The vans will be built at the Drews Lane plant in Washwood Heath. LDV was saved by a management buyout in 1993 led by chief executive Allan Amey and has remained in profit since.
Nicola said "The news that LDV expects to double its workforce at Drews Lane to around 2,000 over the next five years to meet the demand form fleet operators and owner-drivers is very positive. I have visited the LDV production plant in Washwood Heath and was greatly impressed with the commitment of both the staff and the management to invest and grow the LDV brand. I am sure the new models will prove to be a great success."
