Liberal Democrats increase thier votes in the General Election

Birmingham Hodge Hill Liberal Democrats increased their number of votes in yesterday's General Election. Nicola Davies received 8,373 votes which is more than she received in last July's by-election and that the Liberal Democrats received in 2001.
Nicola Davies said "This General Election result shows that the Liberal Democrats in Birmingham Hodge Hill have continued to see their support grow and we look forward to continuing to grow in the future."
Nicola Davies further said "I would like to thank everyone that voted for the Liberal Democrats and myself in this election, and all the messages of support I have received."
