Tony Blair has ruled out an inquiry into CIA flights passing through the UK saying that there is no evidence of such flights and that he did not want to 'add fuel' to the stories.

Responding to Tony Blair's comments on extraordinary rendition at his monthly news conference, Liberal Democrat Shadow Foreign Secretary Sir Menzies Campbell MP said "The Prime Minister is obviously determined to continue with his hear no evil, see no evil policy. But these allegations will not go away. So long as there is no requirement for aircraft transiting through British military or civilian airfields to specify who their passengers are, there will be anxiety and conjecture."
