Thousands head to the Liberal Democrat Conference

Thousands of Liberal Democrats have today headed up to Blackpool for the Liberal Democrat Conference. A number of members from across Birmingham will be attending. The Conference is the first since the General Election so there will be many new MP's at the Conference as well.

The Conference goes on until Thursday and much of it will be shown on BBC television as well as covered on the radio and in the newspapers.
