Many pensioners let down by Labour’s Winter Fuel Payment cut
The Labour Government have changed the rules on the Winter Fuel Payment. Until recently, all who receive a state pension were entitled to between £200 - £600 per year. These payments are usually made in November or December.
If you are a pensioner, and you receive one of the following: pension credit, universal credit, income related employment and support allowance, income based job seekers allowance or income support, then you should still be entitled to the payment and it should be automatic.
But if you rely on this payment , it’s best to check that you will receive it. Click here for more information on this from the Government website.
