Stop the Obstruction of Bin Lorries leaving the waste depots

On 31 March 2025, the Council declared a major incident due to increasing mounds of waste on the streets of Birmingham. The risk to the health and safety of Birmingham residents increases by the day. We are therefore calling upon the police to enable bin lorries to leave the depots unimpeded.

We the undersigned call upon the chief constable Craig Guildford to organise his policing team so that the bin lorries transporting those who want to work are not obstructed on the public highway or at the depots.
